Day 1: Arrival at Jorhat or Dibrugarh – Embark at Neamati Ghat
Arrive at Jorhat Airport and drive 1 hour to Neamati Ghat, the embarkation point for your luxury Brahmaputra River cruise. Alternatively, arrive at Dibrugarh, a city rich in WWII history, followed by a 4-hour transfer to the river. Board your cruise ship and meet your crew. Settle into your floating home for the next 10 nights as you begin your journey through Assam’s natural and cultural treasures.
Day 2: Sibsagar & Majuli Island Exploration
Visit Sibsagar, the ancient capital of the Ahom Kingdom, where stunning Hindu temples and unique architectural marvels await.
